Getting to Madarao and Kuma Lodge is easy!
Bullet trains or shinkansen run from Tokyo Station to Iiyama where it is only a short bus ride to the mountain and Kuma Lodge.
If you have just touched down – Narita Airport to Madarao and Kuma Lodge your trip will take about 3.5 hours on the train.
If you already in Tokyo, from Tokyo Station the whole journey to Kuma Lodge takes a bit over 2 hours.
